We hired Martin and his team to renovate our basement, which was unfinished, and included the following: – 1000 sq ft, open concept finished space (+ 500 sq of semi-finished storage / man-cave space) – 3 piece bathroom – Gas fireplace, with stone façade and built-in bookcases In short, our space is awesome and the workmanship was excellent. From the start, our goal was to have a warm, new, open concept space for our family. Additionally I wanted to ensure that the bones of the renovation (subfloor, electrical, plumbing, framing, dry wall, insulation, etc. ) were done to a high standard. Martin and team delivered on all of my requirements. Additionally, Martin and team always showed up on time and he was always reachable (text, email). Its almost as if they were not there, but 5 weeks later we have a fabulous finished basement, that the family now uses all the time. I would highly recommend Martin.

While searching online for a company to complete my basement that needed to be turned into my home office, I came across GPC and was impressed with their website and the information they provided. In February 2017 we hired Grand Project Contracting to finish our basement. The project went very well. On time, on budget and they exceeded our expectations. Although the quote we were given may have been slightly higher than some of our others, the other builders charged “upgrade” fee’s or many things would have been “add on’s” that were considered standard for Martin and his team. Doing things right with good quality were a given not an “upgrade” or an “add on” for Grand Project Contracting. They kept things clean and finished in the time line given. We hear so many horror stories from people going through reno’s and have to say this was a very low stress experience for us.

We used Grand Project Contracting to build a bathroom in our basement. There were no rough-ins, so this bathroom had to be build completely from scratch.
I would highly recommend Grand Project Contracting. Martin and his crew were extremely professional and personable. They were a pleasure to deal with from the planning stage right up to finishing the bathroom. It was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. I don’t know what more you could ask of a contractor. He charged the exact amount that we agreed to in our contract, he finished one day earlier then he said he would, he cleaned up each day and walked us through the progress as we went through each step. The final product was absolutely perfect and works amazing.
